Classroom Construction & Expansion Project

The Classroom Construction & Expansion Project addresses the urgent need for additional learning space at Kirinya Children's Centre. Our current classrooms are overcrowded, and we have a waiting list of over 100 children who cannot be admitted due to space limitations.

Once complete, this project will allow us to admit 140 additional children who are currently on our waiting list. The new classrooms will provide a better learning environment with improved ventilation and natural lighting, enhancing the quality of education.

Current Status:

Foundation work is complete, and wall construction is 60% complete. We have secured funding for materials through March 2025, but additional funds are needed for finishing work and furniture.

Timeline:

Construction began in January 2025. We expect to complete the structure by August 2025 and have classrooms ready for use by September 2025.
