About This Program

The Quality Primary Education Program is the cornerstone of the Helen Margaret Owen Foundation's work. This comprehensive program ensures that every child enrolled at Kirinya Children's Centre receives a high-quality education that meets Ugandan national standards.

Key Components:

Impact:

Currently serving 300+ students from nursery through Primary 7. Our students consistently achieve high pass rates on national exams, with a 100% pass rate in 2024. The program has transformed countless lives, with graduates going on to secondary school and beyond.

Success Stories:

Grace Akello, a visually impaired student in our program, achieved Division One in her PLE exams and placed 47th nationally - the highest-performing student with a disability in the district. Her success demonstrates that with the right support, every child can excel.
