About This Project

The Vocational Workshop Equipment Project aims to transform our vocational training centre into a state-of-the-art facility equipped with professional-grade tools and machinery. Currently, our students share limited equipment, which restricts hands-on practice time.

Equipment Needs:

Training Enhancement:

With proper equipment, we can increase our training capacity from 50 to 150 students annually. Students will have more hands-on practice time, leading to better skill development. The professional-grade equipment will also allow students to work on real projects for the community, generating income for the program.

Current Status:

We have secured partial funding and acquired some equipment. However, we still need approximately £25,000 to complete the equipment purchase. The building construction is complete and ready for equipment installation.

Sustainability:

Once fully equipped, the vocational centre will generate income through community services (carpentry work, tailoring services, catering, etc.), which will support ongoing maintenance and material costs.
