Jovia Nabakooza is preparing to sit for her Primary Leaving Examinations this year. She is focused and determined, studying late into the evening to ensure she does well. Teachers believe she has great potential for secondary school.
Family Background:
Jovia lost both parents to HIV/AIDS when she was 8. She is HIV negative but has faced stigma from her community because of her parents' illness. She was referred to us by a local health clinic that was concerned about her wellbeing.
