Their Story
Elizabeth Namayega is a determined young girl who never gives up. Despite arriving at our centre unable to read or write at age 7, she has worked tirelessly and is now reading at grade level. Her determination serves as an inspiration to other children who face learning challenges.
Family Background:
Elizabeth lost her father to HIV/AIDS when she was 4, and her mother abandoned her shortly after. She lived on the streets for nearly two years before being rescued by community police and brought to our centre. She has no known relatives willing to care for her.
